Emissions Standards

Our software calibrations may alter or disable factory-set emissions control parameters. As such, these products may not be legal for use on public roads or highways in your jurisdiction.

EPA & CARB Notice

In the United States, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) prohibit the use of devices that bypass or “defeat” emissions control systems on vehicles driven on public roads.

By purchasing and installing Tuner Flash™ software, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for ensuring your vehicle complies with all local, state, and federal laws. Speedworks® is not liable for any fines, penalties, vehicle impoundment, or legal action taken against you for the illegal use of our products on public highways.

Regulatory Compliance

It is the user’s obligation to check local regulations before road use. Many of our calibrations are strictly for competition/track vehicles that will never be operated on a public street.
